If You are Thinking About Real Estate Investing, a Good Mentor Can Help
Many would-be investors think about buying an investment property. But all too many of these investors never take the next step – buying that property for investment purposes. Unfortunately, just thinking about investing in real estate will not generate results or profits.
Because investors are successful people when they take smart action and actually invest.
One thing that keeps many people from buying an investment property is the quality of real estate investing information available. Although there are many real estate investing courses, books, pamphlets, programs, courses, articles, “how-to” tips, and other materials, many of these packages do not provide the actual motivation and sensible support all would-be entrepreneurs need.
Some of this information is even provided by people who do not invest themselves!
This makes this information hypothetical at best. Unfortunately, much of the real estate information about investing is not specific. Would-be investors who buy this sort of information simply have no clue where to start and no real understanding of what specific steps they need to take in order to become a successful investor.
Getting a mentor in order to learn about real estate investing is an excellent solution. A real estate mentor is simply someone who has vast investment experience and is willing to teach others how to copy their business success..
They usually share their information — either in person or through a quality course that is highly endorsed. Anyone interested in buying property for investment can use that mentor’s success template to start investing in real estate. Mentors can even guide a new investor through the steps of buying investment property.
A great mentor is the only solution to getting motivated, getting the support you need to go out and start investing. A mentor provides the sense of clarity and purpose that is necessary to start actually making your money work. Plus, a mentor has the necessary knowledge and offers the sort of clear, step-by-step help that is needed in order to turn an investor into a success. If you want to make a profit with real estate, stop thinking and start acting with an investment mentor.
Don’t waste time and money on abstract information. Get quality real estate investing tips or a quality course from a mentor who has been there and can provide you with the real help you need.
Great advice! Mentors can really speed up the learning curve for new real estate investors. While it may not be very easy to find a good one, once you do, hold on!
I just wanted to add that there are many companies offering to mentor upcoming investors for ONLY $500 or $1000. I think investors should stay far away from these guys. The best place to find a mentor is at your local real estate club or on a reputable REI forum (ours is pretty good - hint!).

Brad here - I’d like to echo what Josh is saying…unfortunately the companies pitching personal “mentoring” for real estate investing don’t have much by way of experience. Unfortunately, when it comes to them, you get what you pay for…so steer clear. Further, Josh, you’re bang on again. Start investing where you live and hook up with a top investor to apprentice under. They’re an invaluable asset.
